Players code of ConductThe purpose of the Freedom Soccer Team is to create an environment where each participating player can learn and grow, as both a player and as a person. To assist in creating that environment, players should: 1. Listen to the advice of coaches and attempt to act on the instruction .2. Attend all games and practices. Obviously, there are schedule conflicts such as family or school events that may result in players missing; however, just feeling like not coming is not an acceptable excuse. Remember, coaches and other players are also giving their time, and they count on you being there. 3. Work hard and have a positive attitude. Athletics are like everything else in life, you only get as much out of them as you put into them. Also, the harder you work, the better you will be, the better the team will be and as a result, the more fun you will have. 4. Take care of your uniforms. Uniforms are expensive, and keeping them from year to year allows the Team to save parents money. You are responsible for keeping it in good shape, and for bringing both jerseys to every game. 5. More than anything else, enjoy the experience! Current high school players are always talking about experiences they had when playing for their club teams in their younger years. You will remember these times for the rest of your life, so make the most of them!
